About Coach

I started CrossFit approximately 10 years ago looking for something new. I was immediately drawn to the varied workouts and amazing community. With a newfound passion for fitness and a background in education, I decided to get my Level 1 certification and start coaching.

Turning Point

As I child I was afraid of failure so I never really tried anything. I was convinced I wouldn't be good enough and would get hurt. CrossFit taught me that failure is normal and growth only happens when you are willing to keep going, keep trying, and put in the work to succeed. Now there isn't much I wouldn't try.

Motivation & Passion

One highlight of my coaching career has been working with FYR Denver. FYR Denver is a non-profit organization that focuses on working with youth who may not have access to formalized fitness, nutrition, or mentorships. I coached for FYR and served on their board for five years. I am a coach that loves to work with a wide range of athletes. I have coached people from ages 13 to 82. One of my favorite athletes joined the gym when he was 78. Before starting CrossFit he needed medication to help with balance. Within a year, he was off all medications and even competed in a team CrossFit competition. Helping people accomplish something they thought they never could drive me.
